My Travel Journal

On the 30th of June, I set out to the airport with exhilaration but I soon found out the ride on the plane was disgraceful. My stomach was churning because I was airsick but I knew the ride was worth it. As I reached to the capital of China, Beijing, I was amazed at how the economy has grown. Before It was just a simple city with a okay-standard buildings and the people were cycling busily but now it's just as rich as America! Then I visited Tienanmen Square and I imagined how this place used to have a catastrophic event called The Tienanmen Square Massacre! Then I went to a restaurant named Quanjude Roast duck Restaurant and it tasted like the duck I ate in Australia. What a coincidence! I also visited the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace Museum!

After a day like that I finally figured that China is a nation! Before I thought that China was country!

China Webquest 4

I've heard about the Terracotta Warriors of Xian, the soldiers are made out of terracotta wood. The First Emperor wanted them to be built in a human size so he would be protected in the afterlife.

I know China has a province that had an expansion which led to the development to the Silk Road. The province was the Han. I also know that Lui Bang, the prince of Han defeated the Qin army at the valley of Wei.

I would like to visit Xi'an because I would like to compare to its original city, Chang'an. I would like to see it's development as it has re-emerged as an important cultural, industry, educational center of the central north-west region with facilities for research and development.

I would love to visit China to see it's in products and it's price in products. I also want to see some delicate artifacts and porcelain dishes, it is because I love ancient things.
